No. A Live Replay plays as a class: once you start, it runs straight through with no pause, skip or rewind, and your attendance is confirmed by check-ins as it plays. That is why it earns live (Group Internet Based) CPE credit. A recording you watch at your own pace is self-study, which requires a final exam.

Whenever you like — day or night, any day of the week. Open the course from your account and press Start. If you registered for a live date of the same session, the Live Replay opens once that live date has ended.

Some events schedule a class as a Live Replay. It plays from the recording at its scheduled time, for everyone attending together, with the same check-ins and the same live credit. Join near the start: arrive after too many of its check-ins have gone by and you can still watch, but can't earn credit for that sitting.

No exam. You confirm attendance by responding to check-ins during the class — about four per hour, none in the first 10 minutes or during breaks.

Each check-in stays on screen for about 50 seconds. To earn credit, answer at least 75% of them — three out of every four. The room shows how many you've answered and how many you can still miss.

It still counts. A check-in confirms you're present, so any response counts toward your attendance. Polls in the class never affect your credit.

Open the course again and you rejoin the class where it is now. The class clock keeps running while you're away, just as it would in a live session, so check-ins that came up while you were gone count as missed.

A Live Replay is all or nothing: answer at least 75% of the check-ins and you earn the course's full credit; fall short and that attempt earns none. Start the class again from the beginning — there's no limit on attempts while your access to the course lasts.

The same credit as the original webinar, in the same NASBA fields of study, reported as Group Internet Based.

As soon as the class ends and you've passed. It's issued automatically, emailed to you as a PDF and kept under Certificates in your account. A short course evaluation is offered afterward; it's optional.

Yes, where the course carries IRS credit. For enrolled agents and other IRS credit, a Live Replay is reported to the IRS as an online program, under the IRS program number shown on the course page.
