Intuit Accountant Suite: The Firm Operating System (EN)

Most accounting firms today have solved the cloud migration problem. What they have not solved is what came next: a fragmented tech stack where the average team member loses nearly six hours per week switching between disconnected tools, re-keying data, and hunting for client status across four different platforms. The move to the cloud was supposed to simplify things. For many firms, it made things more complex. Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) is Intuit’s answer to that problem, not a rebrand of QuickBooks Online Accountant, but a rebuilt firm operating system that consolidates client management, close workflows, AI-powered insights, and team governance into a single environment. The opportunity is significant for any firm running a QBO-centric practice. But the degree to which a firm actually captures that opportunity is almost entirely a function of how well the platform is set up from the start. This session goes well beyond a product overview. Participants will work through five operational modules covering firm setup and role-based access controls, Books Close workflow design, Intuit Intelligence and AI agent deployment, Books-to-Tax integration for U.S. and Canadian firms, and app ecosystem governance, each paired with a live product demonstration. The course is designed for both U.S. and Canadian firms, with market-specific workflows addressed where they differ. Participants leave with a completed 30-Day Activation Plan, a Firm Configuration Checklist, and a set of SOP templates built around the workflows covered in the session. The goal is not to leave knowing what IAS does. It is to leave knowing how to run a firm on it.
