How do I purchase or register for an online class?

To register for an online class:

1. Sign in or Create an account by clicking the Sign-in button in the top right corner.

2. From the home page, click the Browse Courses button.

3. On the Courses page, search for the course using the Search Bar.

4. Click on the Course in the main part of the page.

5. On the class page, select the Buy Course Now button.

6. Insert Card number, Expiration Date, CVC and Zip Code  in the dialogue box that pops up and press the Purchase Course button.

7. Click on the Course Title on the Order History page that populates to access the course.

Note: You can click the My CPE Today button to access any purchased courses at any time.

When do I pay for my course?

You need to pay for your class before starting the course work.  If you have completed listening to a free podcast, you will pay before you take the exam.

How do I get an order confirmation?

You should receive an automatic order confirmation email as soon as the purchase goes through.  You can also see all purchases under the Order History tab.

How do I get a refund?
To receive a refund, please go to our Support Page and create a support ticket and we will be happy to assist you.  Please explain why you need a refund in the body of the email.  Please also refer to our Refund Policy
Is there a subscription fee?
No! CPEToday only wants you to pay for the things you are interested in learning about.  We want to make getting your continuing education credits as painless as possible.  Sign up and pay for any course you like whenever you like.

Accessing Your Courses

How do I earn credits with an online class?

Our online classes have been written by experienced and licensed professionals.  Each class is registered with NASBA.  Once you have completed the online course, passed the online exam with the minimum score indicated by the course and completed the course evaluation, a certificate will be emailed to you and linked to your CPEToday account.  You can then print it out or save it as a PDF.

How do I access my courses?

To access your courses from the homepage:

1. Click on the My CPE Today button in the upper right hand corner of the page
 
Note: If you are using a Mac, you may see the three-line menu symbol instead of My CPE Today button. Click on the menu button and a drop down menu will appear instead.
 
2. Click on the tab that says My Courses to see a full list of your courses
 
Note: The My CPE Today tab gives a summary of the most recent courses used. The My Courses tab shows a full list of your purchased courses.
 
3.Click on the course you wish to work on.
When do I receive my course certificate?

As soon as you complete your course exam and pass it, a certificate will appear under the course in the My Courses tab. Click on the Certificate Link. It will automatically open and you can print or save the PDF immediately. The certificate will also be emailed to you as soon as you pass.

 

How do I print my certificate?

To print your certificate:

1. Click on the My Courses tab
2. Scroll to the course you wish to print the certificate for
3. Click on the CPE Certificate button under the name and credit line of the course
4. Click on the Print Symbol in right hand corner of the pop-up window
How long do I have to complete my online course?

Per the NASBA guidelines, you have one year to finish your course from the date of purchase.

When are new courses released?

We release new material in the form of a podcast every Tuesday and Friday at 11 am PST. For more information on how to access those, please refer to our Podcast and Webinar section. 

 
CPEToday is working with many instructors to make sure we provide the highest quality courses for you. Our goal is to release at least one new course per month. Please sign up for our newsletter to get immediate updates about when new courses are added. If there is a subject you would specifically like a course on, please submit your request through our support page and we will do our best to make a course on it. (Support | CPE Today)
Why is my video not playing or PDF not downloading?

If you are having trouble accessing any of your course materials, please try the below fixes to resolve the issue. If you are still having trouble, please feel free to contact us. We will walk you through these steps again just to make sure that everything on your end is correct. If there is still a problem, we will escalate your case to get your issues resolved as soon as possible.

 
Do you meet the minimum system requirements?
To start, please make sure that your internet connection and device meet our minimum requirements. Please make sure you are using a supported browser. For more detail please see our related FAQ: What are my minimum system requirements to take a CPEToday course?
 
Is it your system environment or the course content causing the problem?
To check if it is your device, settings, or internet connection causing the problem, there are a few things to do.
1. See if you can watch or download material from another course. If you are only enrolled in one course, please search for a podcast under the courses page since those are free to access at any time.
Note: If you can watch another video or download another PDF, please open a support ticket at Support | CPE Today so we can fix the problem with your specific course.
 
2. Clear your browser’s cookies and cache and restart it before trying to watch videos or download material.
  • Do this by going into your browser’s internet settings.
  • Make sure you are using an updated version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari,
    Edge, or Opera web browsers.
  • Close any excess tabs that are open.
3. Turn off your popup blocker browser settings.
  • The browser popup blocker may be blocking the ability to download course material.
  • Go to settings in your browser to add CPEToday to the approved website list.
4. Try watching or downloading the course material from an incognito window.
Note: If the course material plays or downloads without issue, check your extension, plugin or firewall program on your device to see if it needs to be reconfigured or disabled.
 
5. Try a different browser.
  • Make sure you are using an updated version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Opera web browsers.
6. Test your internet speed to make sure it is 5Mbit or 800kps.
How do I access accompanying course material?

To access your courses from the homepage:

1. Click on the My CPE Today button in the upper right hand corner of the page.

2. Click on the tab that says My Courses to see a full list of your courses

When and how do I complete my course evaluation?

You can complete your course evaluation as soon as you have passed your exam for the course. To complete the course evaluation, complete the following steps:

1. Sign into your CPEToday account. 
2. Click on the My Courses tab and scroll to the completed course.
3. Click on the drop-down arrow under the course information.
4. Click on the Course Evaluation button
5. Complete the questionnaire and hit Submit.
When and How do I submit a customer review of a course?

You can complete your course evaluation as soon as you have passed your exam for the course.  To complete the course evaluation, complete the following steps:

1. Sign into your CPEToday account.
2. Click on the My Courses tab and scroll to the Completed Course.
3. Click on the Drop-Down Arrow under the course information.
4. Click on the Course Review button
5. Complete the questionnaire and hit Submit.

Account Support

How do I create an account?

To create an account:

1. Go to the CPEToday homepage
2. Click on the Sign in button in the upper right hand corner
3. Click on the link of the button of the pop up window that says Sign up
4. Fill in the contact information and press the Complete Registration button
5. Click the Click Here link in the Confirmation email that is sent to your email
Note: If you do not see an email in a few minutes, check your spam email and move it to your inbox to make sure the links in the email work.
How do I get Support?

There are multiple ways for you to receive support.

How do I download the mobile app?

We do not currently have a mobile app. You can create a short cut on your home page of your device for easier access: https://www.lifewire.com/home-screen-icons-in-safari-for-iphone-and-amp-ipod-touch-4103654.

How do I delete my account?

Please create a support request at https://www.cpetoday.com/support and we will be happy to assist you in deleting your account. Please include your full name and email address you registered with in the body of the email.

How do I reset my password?

To reset your password:

1. Try to sign in like normal
2. Click the blue “Forgot Password” link between the email and password dialogue boxes
3. Enter your email address you originally signed up with
4. Check the email you entered for a verification code
Note: If you do not see it in a few seconds, check your spam or junk folder
5. Copy the Code and go back to the CPEToday account help page
6. Enter verification code in the first dialogue box and a new password
7. Hit submit
Your password has been reset.
How do I change my marketing preferences?

We are striving at CPEToday to provide you with the easiest and best experience you have ever had. We are still developing this part of our website. Please sign up for our newsletter and we will notify you as soon as this functionality becomes available.

What are my minimum system requirements to take a CPEToday course?

We have worked very hard to make CPEToday as accessible as
possible. You can access your courses on
PC, Mac, desktops, laptops, Android, and iOS devices. Below are our specific system requirements
for each of these devices.

Minimum System Requirements

No matter the device you are using, you will need these
minimum requirements:

  • An updated version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari,
    Edge, or Opera web browsers.
  • A broadband internet connection with a minimum
    speed of 5Mbit or 800kbps.

Note: Flash Player is not required.

PC Specific Requirements

Please make sure that your PC, whether it is a desktop or laptop, meet these following requirements:

  • A Windows 8 or higher Operating system with the latest updates installed
  • 4GB or more of Ram
  • Graphics output capability for Video
  • Sound output capability for Sound
Mac Specific Requirements

Please make sure that your Mac, whether it is a desktop or laptop, meet these following requirements:

  • A Mac OS X 10.12 or higher Operating system with the latest updates installed
  • 4GB or more of Ram
  • Graphics output capability for Video
  • Sound output capability for Sound
Mobile Specific Requirements

Please make sure that your mobile devices meet these following requirements:

  • Android 6.0 or higher operating system
  • iOS 12.0 or higher operating system

How do I sign into my CPEToday account?

To sign into your CPEToay account:

 
1. Make sure you have already created a CPEToday account.
2. Click the “Sign In” button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3. Enter your email address you signed up with and password. 
4. Press the submit button.

Podcast and Webinar Support

How do I get credits for the online podcast?

To receive credits after finishing a Podcast:

1. Go to CPEToday.com and sign in to your account
2. Find the podcast you finished listening to and click on it
3. Click on the “Purchase Exam” button on the right-hand side of the page
4. Enter your credit card information in the dialogue box that pops up
5. Click on the “Take Exam” button
6. Take and pass the exam
7. Download credit certificate from the “My Courses” tab
