After dedicating over 12 years to the therapy clinic I co-owned with my husband, Steve, I burned out because I had an upper limit problem. The only way to earn more was to work more. The workload cut into my personal life, robbing me of family time. So, I stopped tolerating it and moved in a new direction. As a sports psychologist turned business coach, I devoted time, money and energy into building a business which supports my lifestyle rather than one which drains the life out of me. Since 2009, I’ve gained insight, narrowed my focus and mastered the strategies to grow a location-independent business. Unfortunately, too many accounting professionals struggle.
