They often go beyond the scope of an individual organization’s operations and now can have far-reaching repercussions. From recent data, they are an even more significant threat this year compared to last year and only gaining momentum. They can expose sensitive information that can result in identity theft, industrial espionage, and even compromises in national security. This class will dive deeply into the 2022 Verizon Data Breach Investigation Report (DBIR), which analyzed over 23k security incidents and over 5k data breaches. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of what data breaches are, how they occur and what they can do to protect themselves and their organizations.
